Immunisation

The School Age Immunisation Team consists of Registered Nurses and Health Care Support Workers who deliver the National School Age Programme of Immunisations in Doncaster. These programmes are delivered in schools with community clinics arranged for home-educated children and those that have missed vaccines in school. Home visits can also be arranged if necessary.

We deliver adolescent immunisations which include:

  •  The National Flu Programme for all children in primary schools.

Your child’s school is notified of the date that the School Age Immunisation Team will be in school administering vaccines. Schools will distribute a link to an Electronic consent form to all parents of children eligible for each specific vaccine. We ask that parents complete the consent form and return to school as soon as possible before the session is due to take place. If you are unable to access the digital consent form, school will provide you with a paper version.
